Privacy Policy (Policy on protection of private information)
Hokkaido Tourist Center (hereinafter referred to as “HTC”) hereby sets forth basic policy pertaining to the handling of private information as the following, and sets up guidelines for protecting private information, and thoroughly tackles to acknowledge the significance of protection of private information to all employees, thus promoting protection of private information.
Management of private information
HTC shall keep customers’ private information at accurate and latest condition, and in order to prevent unfair access, loss, damage, falsification, and leakage of private information, we strictly manage the private information through maintaining security system, maintenance of management system, education of employees, and conducting security measures.
Purpose of using private information
Private information of customers acquired by HTC shall be used for the purpose of sending e-mails and materials for contacts as well as information from HTC, and response to inquiries received from customers.
Prohibition of disclosure and supply of private information to third party
HTC shall appropriately manage private information which we received from customers, and shall not disclose such information to third party except for the following:
To receive consent from customers
To conduct service which customers requested, in such cases HTC shall disclose such information to companies in consignment.

Security measures on private information
HTC is taking appropriate measures on securities in order to acquire accuracy and safety of private information
Identity verification
If customers wish to identify, modify or delete his/her own personal information, HTC will respond to such desires of customers after verifying his/her identification
Compliance and review of laws and regulations
HTC shall comply with Japanese law and other regulations applicable to private information which the company owns, and shall often review the contents of such policies for the purpose of improvement.
